Beautiful gardens with nature in mind

Camberwell Grove

This was a design and build for a small-ish London garden, whilst I did not have direct involvement in the planting here, it was a fun little project with lots of little details to fill in, whilst keeping a sense of where it is situated, there was a country garden element to the style but subtle and fit for purpose.

I came to this garden when it was practically just mud and bricks, it took a 12-yard skip of soil removed to get the levels right here, but then we created a proper bed to the rear, right side, building a new wall using recycled bricks from The London Brick Company to keep the style matching the area.

We then proceeded to install a pond with a granite block pavement which would eventually house many low growing plants. From this we installed trellis for climbing plants and an old York stone path through between the beach pebble borders (for pots) to the main patio.

The new raised bed was planted up with a variety of flowering perennials and shrubs for year-round colour. The seating area is tucked away between this bed and the right-hand trellis panelling providing perfect relaxing spot for a warm summer’s evening.
